Where is the word Scruttucks from?
Scruttucks is a word that to the best of my knowledge emerged on The Mark and Lard show on Radio1 here in the UK. It was first heard as affectionate reference to a member of the production staff on the show known only as 'Mick the Buttocks Scruttucks". This word soon found it's way into the vocabulary of my band mates and then most of my friends. If they weren't using the word Scruttucks they were having it conversationally forced upon them by me!

Yeah that's nice, but what does Scruttucks mean?
I have no idea, I like it because it sounds rude but isn't! I asked a mate called Marv who runs a zine called Gadgie what he thought it meant, this is what he had to say;

" Absolutely nothing, though if pushed to guess, I would imagine something pertaining to the "buttocks" and the "scrutting" of. You should ask Luke from the IQ, he seems to be an expert on "the other love zone.""

I should mention I have no idea what scrutting is either!

Scruttucks Spelling.
As this appears to be a new word in the English language I hereby declare it should be started with a capital letter. I did look up Scruttucks on www.dictionary.com but just got following suggestions that I had mis-spelt this wonderful word;

Best usage of the word Scruttucks?
Well the credit for this has to go to Mark and Lard on Radio1, with a notable mention going to my friend Graham who is endeavouring to make 'Scruttucks' the first word uttered by his twin boys!
